Over the Bones juxtapose fiction et documentaire pour mieux entremêler les vies, très contrastées, de deux individus : un chauffeur routier et une chanteuse. Tandis que la caméra les suit dans leur environnement professionnel, leurs histoires personnelles convergent finalement lors d’un incident dans une piscine, qui aura de très importantes répercussions pour tous deux…

Over The Bones juxtaposes documentary and fiction to interweave the lives of two intentionally contrary individuals, a truck driver and a female singer. Witnessed in their separate working environments their stories slowly converge until they meet through an accident at a swimming pool that has startling consequences for both characters.

En 2002, Charlotte Ginsborg est diplômée des Beaux-Arts du Goldmith College de Londres. Depuis, elle a montré ses films et ses installations vidéo (The Mirroring Cure, Spade, Seetha & Lamberto…) dans des galeries et des festivals. Ses films mêlent le documentaire à des éléments de fiction, et explorent les relations psychologiques de l’individu face aux infrastructures de la ville, afin de mettre à jour les liens complexes entre les hommes et le monde du travail.

Charlotte Ginsborg graduated from the MA Fine Art course at Goldsmiths College, London, in 2002. Since then, she has been exhibiting her films and video works (The Mirroring Cure, Spade, Seetha & Lamberto) in galleries and at film festivals. Her films mix documentary and fictional elements to explore psychological reactions to the infrastructure of the city, revealing our complex relationship with the working world.
