Teen se sent hors du monde lorsqu'il décide de quitter le lycée et sa mère. C'est l'hiver, il est seul. Au printemps, Teen, Nico, Adrien et Thomas s'isolent, pour composer et enregistrer. Ensemble, ils partagent une musique et une manière d'être au monde.

 

Teen feels like an outcast. He decides to leave school, and his mother. It is winter and he is alone. When spring begins, Teen, Nico, Adrien and Thomas set themselves apart from the world to compose and record. Together they share their music and their own unique lifestyle.

Né en 1977 à Brive, Antoine Parouty pratique, à l’adolescence, le théâtre, la photographie et la musique. En 1995, il co-écrit un court métrage, Chaud devant, tourné en 16 mm. L’année suivante, il voyage seul en Afrique, puis intègre l’Insas de Bruxelles, section Image. En 1998, de retour au Mali il réalise Une cicatrice derrière la tête, puis en 1999, Back from Cambrai avec l’Atelier des Jeunes Cinéastes à Bruxelles. Depuis 5 ans, il vit à Paris où il travaille comme chef-opérateur et consacre une partie de son temps à la réalisation. En 2003, il réalise La Route des hêtres.

 

Antoine Parouty was born in 1977 in Brive. As a teenager, he took part in many activities such as theatre, photography and music. He is the co-author of the short Chaud Devant, shot in 16 mm in 1995. The following year, he travelled alone around Africa. Back in Europe, he entered Insas in Brussels, majoring in image sciences. In 1998, he went back to Mali to direct Une Cicatrice derrière la tête. In 1999, he shot Back from Cambrai with the “Atelier des Jeunes cinéastes de Bruxelles” - Young Film directors’ workshop in Brussels. He has been living in Paris for 5 years, working as a cinematographer and dedicating part of his time to film direction. In 2003, he directed La Route des hêtres.
