Camille et G.J., un couple de Los Angeles, la petite trentaine, ont connu des jours plus heureux. Pour se changer les idées, Camille décide d’organiser un week-end dans la Vallée de la Mort – autant dire une vraie aventure pour les urbains qu’ils sont. Mais à mi-chemin, l’ex-petite amie de G.J., Morgan, l’appelle à la rescousse. Morgan va se retrouver incluse dans le week-end, ce qui va bouleverser les plans de Camille... Entre fous rires et angoisses existentielles, Camille et G.J. vont devoir réévaluer leurs attentes et leur avenir.
Camille and G.J., a couple in their late twenties, have known happier times. They decide to take a few days off and go to Death Valley. Needless to say, a real adventure for the city people that they are. But half-way through the drive, G.J.’s ex-girlfriend Morgan calls him for help. They have to pick her up, and she finds herself included in the weekend, which doesn’t help Camille’s hidden agenda... Between metaphysical angst and giggles, Camille and G.J. have to reevaluate their expectations and their common future.

Husson
Husson a souvent été nomade, vivant entre Los Angeles, Paris, Londres, Madrid, et Puerto-Rico, mais elle est née et a grandi en France où elle a obtenu une Maîtrise en Littérature Anglaise et une licence d’Espagnol. Elle a passé son Masters en Réalisation à l’American Film Institute à Los Angele. En mars 2013, Husson achève un moyen métrage tourné en cinq jours avec sa troupe d’acteurs dans la Vallée de la Mort, intitulé Those for whom it’s always complicated, qui vient de recevoir l’aide à la postproduction d’Ile-de-France. En janvier 2013, son projet de long métrage Bang Gang est sélectionné au Cinemart du Festival du Film de Rotterdam, où il attire fortement l’attention.
Husson is a writer and a director. She has been a nomad most of her adult life, living between the States, France, Spain, England and Porto Rico, but she was born and raised in France where she got a Master in English Literature and a BA in Spanish Literature from the Sorbonne University. She went on to pursue an MFA in directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. She has just completed a 50 min movie, Those for whom it’s always complicated, shot with her team of favorite actors, in Los Angeles and Death Valley, in five days. Husson is preparing her first feature film, Bang Gang, and is proud to say that Lars Von Trier is mentoring the movie.
