Un meurtre déguisé en suicide? Rainer, 21 ans, et son père Georg, 43 ans, partent faire leur randonnée annuelle. Entre le père et le fils, étrangers l’un à l’autre, un conflit qui couve depuis longtemps ressurgit à la faveur de l’isolement dans la montagne. Rainer profite de sa chute dans une crevasse pour faire croire à son père qu’il est mort par sa faute.

A murder disguised as a suicide? Rainer, 21, is going on an annual trip with his father Georg, 43. Since father and son are strangers to each other, a long and smouldering conflict arouses in the isolation of the mountains. Rainer uses an accident on the glacier to make it look like he lost his life due to Georg's fault.

 

Axel Koenzen est né en 1972 à Hilden. Il étudie la photographie au Centre International de la Photographie de New York, sous la direction de Nan Goldin et de David Armstrong. Il travaille comme monteur, photographe et créateur visuel pour des sociétés comme R.S.A. (Ridley Scott & Associates) et Columbia TriStar. Il a étudié le cinéma à la dffb à partir de 1997.

Axel Koenzen was born in 1972 in Hilden (Rheinland). He studied photography at the International Center of Photography in New York under Nan Goldin and David Armstrong. He worked as photo editor, photographer and visual researcher for companies such as  R.S.A. (Ridley Scott & Associates) and Columbia TriStar. He studied directing at dffb from 1997 .
