«A chaque fois que je rends visite à ma grand-mère, je parcours lentement les pièces de l’appartement et j’observe ce qui a changé et ce qui n’a pas bougé. Puis je me rends dans le jardin qu'un petit chemin sépare en deux, et au bout de l’allée, je me retourne et je regarde la maison.»

“Every time when I visit my grandmother, I slowly walk through the rooms and look at what has changed and what hasn’t changed. Every time I also go to the garden, which a small pathway divides in two; at the end, I turn around and look at the house.”

 

Norman Richter est né en 1979, il vit et travaille à Berlin. Il est diplômé de l'école de cinéma HFF 'Konrad Wolf' de Potsdam depuis 2007. Il crée une œuvre où photographie, art vidéo et documentaire se rassemblent avec puissance et radicalité. Ses films sont tournés en pellicule. Il travaille actuellement à la réalisation d'un nouveau film en Iran.

Norman Richter was born in 1979. He lives and works in Berlin. In 2007, he graduated from the Potsdam HFF 'Konrad Wolf' film school. In his work, photography, video art and documentary mingle and create a powerful and radical mix. His films are shot on celluloid. He is currently working on a film project in Iran.
