Katowice, February 1982. Communist government has imposed the martial law to demotivate “Solidarność” trade union. In this specific context, two teenagers live their first love story. But History will play against them.
Rafał Kapeliński est né à Toruń en Pologne. Il a étudié la littérature américaine avant de suivre des ateliers à la London Film School. Son projet de premier long-métrage, Up on the roof, a été présenté à la Cinéfondation du Festival de Cannes en 2009.
