By handing them the keys of a rental apartment, Sylvain gets to meet two young ladies on holidays, on the coast of Picardy. A perfect occasion for him to get away, even just for a few days, from an life devoid of any kind of feminine presence…
Diplômé de la Fémis en 2005, Guillaume Brac travaille d’abord comme assistant-réalisateur, notamment sur des films d’Emmanuel Mouret et Arnaud des Pallières. En 2008, il participe à la création de la société de production Année Zéro. En 2009, il écrit, réalise et produit Le Naufragé, primé au festival Premiers Plans d’Angers. Tourné au même endroit, un an plus tard, Un monde sans femmes est son premier moyen-métrage.
Upon graduation from La Fémis film school in 2005, Guillaume Brac first worked as assistant director, for Emmanuel Mouret and Arnaud des Pallières among others. In 2008, he took part in the creation of production company Année Zéro. In 2009, he wrote, directed and produced Le naufragé, awarded at the Angers Premiers Plans Film Festival. Shot in the same location one year later, Un monde sans femmes is his first medium-length film.
