Mátyás Prikler est né en 1982 à Bratislava. Diplômé de la section réalisation à l’Académie de Musique et d’Art Dramatique de Bratislava (VSMU), il étudie par la suite le théâtre et le cinéma à l’Université de Budapest. Il a réalisé plusieurs courts et moyens métrages (The Life of a Fly (2002), Self-portrait (2004), They are not your husband (2006), A following Act (2006)), ainsi que des documentaires. Depuis 2005, il dirige la société de production MPhilms, qui organise également des ateliers de jeunes artistes.
Mátyás Prikler was born in 1982 in Bratislava. He graduated from the Department of Film and TV Directing at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava (VSMU). Between 2005 and 2006, he studied at the Theatre and Film University in Budapest. He has made several short and medium-length films such as The Life of a Fly (2002), Self-portrait (2004), They are not your husband (2006), A following Act (2006). Since 2005, Mátyás Prikler has been the director of MPhilms, a film production company that also sets up workshops for young artists.
