EUROPEAN COMPETITION

Le coeur du festival.

Du film de genre au journal intime en passant par le portrait,  la sélection 2011 propose d’aller à la rencontre des jeunes auteurs européens qu’ils empruntent la fiction, le documentaire ou l’expérimentation.

Quel que soit l’outil formel ou technique, du film à la vidéo, ce sont à chaque fois des films singuliers où s’exprime un regard fort sur le monde, du réel le plus prosaïque jusqu’au rêve, voire l’utopie.

Nous vous invitons à accueillir avec nous ces réalisateurs et leurs films à Brive, du 6 au 11 avril 2011.

The heart of the festival.

Ranging from genre movies to filmed diaries and self-portraits, the 2011 selection allows to meet with young European authors, whether they chose to use fiction, documentary or experimental filming.

Whatever their choice of technical or formal approach, whether it be print or video, every film gives a significant and unique insight into the world, from the most down-to-earth realism up to dream, and even utopia.

 

We invite you to welcome the film directors and their movies with us from April 6th to 11th 2011 in Brive.
