Comme tous les étés, Elio rejoint son père en Italie pour l'aider à gérer le petit établissement balnéaire familial, le Bagni 66, situé sur la Côte adriatique. Mais les temps de crise et les conflits permanents ont usé le vieux plagiste, qui ne tarde pas à faire part à son fils de sa volonté de tout abandonner.
Every Summer, Elio goes to Italy to help his father with the small family business, a private beach club, the Bagni 66, located on the Adriatic Coast. But the recent crisis and constant conflicts have exhausted the old man who shortly makes his son aware of his will to give up.
Luca et Diego Governatori
Diego (né en 1981) et Luca Governatori (né en 1977) ont étudié la réalisation et le montage à la Fémis de 2003 à 2007. Dans ce cadre, ils réalisent notamment Le Chant des oiseaux et Vita di Giacomo. Ce dernier sera montré dans une vingtaine de festivals à travers le monde, et notamment à Brive où il remporte le Grand Prix du Jury en 2008. En 2008-2009, les deux frères sont pensionnaires à la Villa Médicis. Bagni 66 est leur troisième moyen-métrage.
Diego (b. 1981) and Luca Governatori (b. 1977) are both Fémis alumni where they studied direction and editing. During their film studies, they directed a string of films among which Le Chant des oiseaux and Vita di Giacomo, which has been shown in twenty festivals around the world and awarded Grand Prize of the Jury at the Brive Film Festival 2008. After a residency at the Rome Villa Medicis (2008-2009), they directed their third medium-length film, Bagni 66.
