Une histoire tragique, celle de deux frères qui font face à la mort de leur père. L’un a été aimé et l’autre injustement délaissé par un père qui ne lui laisse rien. Le favori, celui qui en a le moins besoin et qui est le plus désintéressé par l’argent, hérite de tout.
The tragic story of two brothers grappling with the death of their father. One was loved and the other unfairly neglected by a father who left him nothing. The entire inheritance goes to the favorite son, who needs it less and cares little about money.
Vincent Macaigne
Né en 1978, Vincent Macaigne a été formé au Conservatoire National d’Art Dramatique de Paris 10e. Dramaturge, metteur en scène et comédien de théâtre, ses spectacles proposent un théâtre épique et courageux, parfois controversé. Au cinéma, il travaille comme acteur avec Philippe Garrel, Catherine Corsini, Jalil Lespert et Guillaume Brac, lequel lui offre, avec Le naufragé et Un monde sans femmes (Grand Prix France au Festival de Brive 2011) le personnage-clé de Sylvain, solitaire au grand cœur. Ce qu’il restera de nous est son premier film comme réalisateur, lauréat du Grand Prix au dernier Festival de Clermont-Ferrand.
Born in 1978, Vincent Macaigne was trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art of Paris. Playwright, director and stage actor, his plays reveal a courageous, epic and at times controversial theater. In film, he worked as an actor with Philippe Garrel, Catherine Corsini, Jalil Lespert and Guillaume Brac, who gave him the lead in Le naufragé and Un monde sans femmes (Grand Prize France at the Brive Film Festival 2011), with the key figure of lonely and big-hearted Sylvain. Ce qu’il restera de nous is his first film as a director, and was awarded the Grand Prix at the last Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Fest.
