Ben mène une vie de solitude, avec sa mère, dans un grand manoir au fond des bois. Un jour, Ben se lie d'amitié avec le charismatique Tom. Ils vont alors vivre un été de musique, d'alcool et de drogue. L’influence de Tom sur Ben met en danger la relation de celui-ci avec sa mère, et la fin de l’été sera abrupte.
Ben lives an isolated life with his mother in a manor in the woods. When Ben becomes friends with the charismatic Tom, they experience a summer full of music, alcohol and drugs. Tom’s influence puts the relation between Ben and his mother under great pressure and brings the summer to an abrupt end.
Tomas Kaan
Tomas Kaan (né en 1979) a étudié l'histoire à Berlin et à Amsterdam. Il est le co-fondateur de la société de production journalistique Prospektor. Il a réalisé des courts et moyens documentaires, notamment Amsterdam-Kosovo (sélectionné au festival de Tribeca), Dream City - Iraq (sélectionné au Festival de Rotterdam) et We Are Boys (lauréat du Prix du Jury enfants au Festival d'Oberhausen). Tout en préparant son premier long-métrage, il travaille actuellement pour la société HazazaH comme réalisateur de spots publicitaires.
Tomas Kaan (b. 1979) studied history in Berlin and Amsterdam, and was a co-founder of journalism production bureau Prospektor. He directed several short documentaries : Amsterdam-Kosovo (selected at the Tribeca IFF), Dream City – Iraq (selected at the Rotterdam IFFR) and We Are Boys (winner of the Children Jury Award at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival). While in development for a feature film, Tomas is currently working for the producing company HazazaH as director of commercials.
