Fanny et Simon, deux jeunes d’à peine 20 ans, fuient une zone industrielle et s’enfoncent dans la montagne. Ils se connaissent à peine. Un incident malheureux survenu sur leur lieu de travail les lie dans un destin commun. En chemin, ils se séduisent, apprennent à se connaître. La découverte, en pleine nature, d’un téléphone portable qui semble les appeler va les entraîner dans une étrange aventure…
Fanny and Simon, a young girl and a boy approching their twenties, are running away from a factory and entering the mountain. Something happened in the factory they both worked at. This event links them in a common fate. On the road they flirt, learning to know each other. But when they discover a mysterious object lying in the grass, their destiny shifts…
Jean-Sébastien Chauvin
Titulaire d’une maîtrise de cinéma & audiovisuel à l’université Paris I, Jean-Sébastien Chauvin est critique aux « Cahiers du cinéma », « Vogue » et « Chronic’art ». Il enseigne également le cinéma à l’ESEC et pratique la photographie. En 2008, il se lance dans la réalisation avec le court Les Filles de feu, sélectionné à la Semaine de la Critique à Cannes. Il retrouve sa production Sedna Films pour Et ils gravirent la montagne. Il a depuis tourné un court-métrage avec le G.R.E.C., La Tristesse des androïdes.
Jean-Sébastien Chauvin holds a Master of Cinema & Audiovisual at the University of Paris I and is a film critic for the French magazines « Les Cahiers du cinéma », « Chronic’art » and « Vogue ». He teaches cinema at the ESEC film school. His first short, Les Filles de feu, in 2008, was selected at the Cannes’ Critics’ Week. Still produced by Sedna Films, Et ils gravirent la montagne is his second film. He has recently completed La Tristesse des androïdes, produced by the G.R.E.C.
