Mariana est une petite fille de 11 ans, originaire de Serpa, qui vient d’emménager à Lisbonne avec son père. Elle passe les premiers jours à nettoyer la maison et découvre son nouveau quartier, Entrecampos. Après le premier jour d’école, Mariana se perd sur le chemin du retour et doit appeler son père pour lui demander de l’aide. Le jour suivant, elle se lie d’amitié avec un garçon de sa classe, Nicholau, et son grand-frère, Simão. Les deux frères invitent Mariana à déjeuner et l’aident à rentrer chez elle.

Mariana is an 11 years old girl coming from Serpa who just moved to Lisbon with her father. The first days are spent in the city cleaning the house and knowing the new neighborhood, Entrecampos. After the irst day of school, Mariana gets lost coming home and has to call her father for help. The next day, she becomes friends with a boy in her class, Nicholau, and his older brother, Simão. The two brothers invite Mariana for lunch and help her to get home.

João Rosas

João Rosas est né à Lisbonne en 1981. Il a étudié les sciences de la communication et le cinéma à l’Universidade Nova à Lisbonne, l’Université de Bologne et à la London Film School avec une bourse de la Fondation Calouste Gulbenkian. Il est l’auteur de trois livres de nouvelles. Il travaille régulièrement pour le cinéma dans le domaine de l’image.

Born in Lisbon, in 1981. He studied Communication Sciences and Cinema at Universidade Nova in Lisbon, University of Bologna and at London Film School, with a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. He is the author of three books of short stories. Works regularly in cinema in the edition and image (photo, 1st Assistant) departments.
