Synopsis :
Le film nous présente un artiste hongrois, Imre Bukta, dont le travail est exposé dans des galeries d'art contemporain à travers l'Europe. Il vit dans un village hongrois en total déclin économique et social. Vivre dans ce village n'est pas seulement un choix personnel, mais surtout une démarche artistique et civile qui lui sert d'inspiration pour son travail d'artiste. Il y sculpte la réalité de l'habitat autour de lui.
Sous forme d'un essai cinématographique libre, Dénes Nagy met en lumière les territoires inconnus de l'Europe et la vie de personnes qui habitent dans ces régions. Entrelaçant délicatement paysages et portraits, silence et sons, ce documentaire poétique montre l'esprit intérieur d'une autre Hongrie. Avec l'aide du Conseil des médias en Hongrie .
The film presents us a contemporary Hungarian artist, Imre Bukta, whose work is exhibited in contemporary art galleries throughout Europe, and who lives in a Hungarian village that is on the verge of total decline. Living in this village is not only a personal choice but also an artistic and civil responsibility for this person who takes inspiration from - and in fact carves his art from - the reality and habitat around him.
In the style of a free cinematographic essay Dénes Nagy brings to light unknown territories of Europe and the lives of people who inhabit these areas. Delicately interweaving landscapes and portraits, silence and sounds, this poetic documentary captures the inner spirit of another Hungary.

Biographie :
Dénes Nagy est né en 1980 à Budapest. Il a fait ses études à l'Université d'Art Dramatique et Cinématographique de Budapest dans la classe de János Szász en 2009. Il a passé un an à Berlin Film Academy (DFFB). Actuellement il fait ses études de doctorat à l'Université d'Art Moholy Nagy.
Dénes Nagy was born in 1980 in Budapest. He graduated at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest in the class of János Szász in 2009. As a guest student he spent a year at the Berlin Film Academy (DFFB). Currently he is doing his doctoral studies at the Moholy Nagy University of Art.
