Milford Thomas a travaillé de nombreuses années comme chargé de production pour la télévision japonaise. Il est fasciné par la culture traditionnelle du Sud des états-Unis dont il est originaire et où il réside, et par le folklore japonais dont il a tiré l’argument principal de Claire.  

Milford Thomas has been working for several years as a production manager for japanese TV. He is fascinated by the traditional culture of the South of the United States, where he was born and where he’s living in; and by the japanese folklore which inspired his movie Claire.
