Pendant le chaud mois d’août, Alice se rend avec ses frères et soeurs dans la maison de vacances familiale. Les jours passent et la maison se remplit de présences fantomatiques, alors qu’Alice est de plus en plus happée par le passé colonial de sa grand-mère.

In the hot month of August, Alice and her siblings go to their grandmother’s summer house. As the days go by, the house becomes a hive of slow straying bodies, as Alice becomes more and more  engrained in her grandmother’s colonial past.

Inês de Lima Torres

Inês de Lima Torres est née en 1995 à Setúbal, au Portugal. En 2017, elle a obtenu son diplôme en réalisation à l’école de Théâtre et de Cinéma de Lisbonne.
De Madrugada, son film de fin d’études, a été présenté pour la première fois en Compétition nationale à Indie Lisboa et dans d’autres festivals internationaux, notamment à San Sebastian.

Inês de Lima Torres was born in 1995 in Setúbal, Portugal. She graduated from the Lisbon School of Theatre and Film in directing in 2017. De Madrugada, her graduation film, premiered at IndieLisboa National Competition and was also screened at other international festivals such as San Sebastián International Film Festival.
