In the city of Abidjan, which is undergoing social changes, we discover an Ivorian youth who has lost its bearings after the political and economic crises of recent years. From cons to small businesses, we follow Rolex the Portuguese and his companions in their daily activities and the whirlwind of their nightlife. For them, swindling the Europeans is collecting the colonial debt...

Joël Akafou
Né en 1986 à Bouaké en Côte d’Ivoire, Joël Akafou est diplômé d’un Master en réalisation à L’ISIS (Institut Supérieur de L’Image et du Son de Ouagadougou). Il y a réalisé quelques courts métrages documentaires et de fiction dont le dernier, Nourah, a été sélectionné en 2016 dans plusieurs festivals dont l’AMAA au Nigéria, le FESTICAB au Burundi et le FESTILAG à Abidjan.
Born in 1986 in Bwake in Côte d’Ivoire, Joël Akafou has a Master degree in Filmmaking from the ISIS (Institut Supérieur de L’Image et du Son de Ouagadougou). He has directed there a few short films, both documentary and fiction, among which his last, Nourah, was selected in 2016 in many film festivals such as the AMAA in Nigeria, the FESTICAB in Burundi and the FESTILAG in Abidjan.
