Sur les terres du bout du monde, on raconte qu’il existe une forêt magique. Elle ferait apparaître au voyageur qui s’y installe l’être qu’il désire le plus fort ; une créature venue d’un souvenir lointain, d’un présent rêvé ou d’un avenir incertain.

At the edge of the world, it is said there is an enchanted forest. It will hand over to the traveller who settles there the one he most desires. Among the trees wanders beings from a faraway memory, an evanescent present, or an uncertain future.

Pablo Dury

Pablo Dury est né en 1994 à Paris. Après son baccalauréat, il entame des études cinématographiques à l’université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. En parallèle, il crée Limagorium, un collectif de cinéastes destiné à favoriser la jeune production cinématographique. C’est avec ce collectif qu’il entreprend en 2015 la réalisation de Opium, son premier moyen métrage. Le film remporte le Grand Prix Fiction du Festival Côté Court 2016. Cette distinction lui offre la possibilité de réaliser un deuxième moyen métrage en 2018, Les Amoureux.

Pablo Dury was born in 1994 in Paris. After secondary school he started cinema studies at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. In parallel, he set up Limagorium, a collective of filmmakers designed to encourage young film production. It is with this collective that in 2015 he started making Opium, his first medium-length film. It won the Fiction Grand Prix at the Festival Côté Court 2016. This distinction gave him the possibility of making a second medium-length film in 2018, Les Amoureux.
